The Principal Network Engineer is part of a team that is fast and furious while being able to address any issues within systems, networks, and customer experience. With networks across the USA, they are expanding their footprint across the Southwest.
Opportunity at a Glance
As principal network engineer, put into place methods, processes, and procedures while also mentoring other network engineers. Our client promotes those who are driven towards success in their performance. Provide front-to-end engineering and installation of Arista, Cisco, Extreme, and Juniper router-based IP solutions. Projects include build-outs of Next-Gen DCs, Hybrid Cloud implementations and advanced IP/MPLS Core Networks. Provide technical support to project planning team for the development.
Primary Objectives of the Role
Some acquisitions of existing networks means some were not designed the right way. It will be challenging for to identify and fix what is broken and build a process around how to fix it. You will be working with a highly experienced Architecture Team developing and implementing these technologies. This position provides the opportunity to grow expertise, and learn a wide variety of the latest technologies. Be able to meet with internal customers and external vendors/ customers to propose enhancements to existing networks and build-out of new networks.

Must be a US citizen or US permanent resident status (green card). Sorry no H1B. Company is offering paid relocation for the right candidate to Lubbock TX. Or can work remote from home office with travel 1 week per month to Lubbock.
