 ConnectGen has been retained to commence a search for a Sr. Sales Manager Role for a solutions-driven provider of ancillary wireless infrastructure products used in Macro, Small Cell and DAS networks.

Opportunity at a Glance

This company is seeking a South Florida based Sr. Sales Manager for an upcoming product launch that will revolutionize the 5G telecom space. The company began operations around 2006 with the goal to become a direct supplier to the wireless carriers and their direct and indirect installers and OEM’s, and that’s just what they’ve done. Their clients include T-Mobile, AT&T, and other household names in 5G and telecom. This position will report directly to the Founder and President of the company.

Primary Objectives of the Role

As the Southeastern Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Lead all sales activities in the Southeastern United States. This includes, but is not limited to cold outreach, cultivating relationships with clients and potential clients, and attending wireless telecom conventions and other events.

Manage KPIs for all sales campaigns for the Southeastern U.S. region.

Lead all presales activities for enterprise 5G solutions including leading discussion with customers to understand requirements, develop solutions that address their needs and formulate winning strategies when responding.

Make regular in-person visits to clients in the Southeast and build strong client relationships.

Travel will be required: Up to 10% travel to company headquarters in Dallas, and up to 25% travel within the Southeastern U.S. region.

Target Candidate Profile

A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably as a Sales Manager

Strong understanding of 5G telecom industry and infrastructure

Excellent communication skills

Highly motivated self-starter, with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit

Value business relationships, which is the foundation of the company culture

No degree required: While a degree is certainly a bonus for this role, a strong work ethic and desire to solve customers’ problems is paramount.
